The sun came out!

Unfortunately, the batteries in the camera are dead. But it is my goal this week to figure out how to compress the video footage and put it on here. Ellie and I just spent an hour on the beach. She LIKES the toes in the sand, and running on the beach, but did NOT like the cold water on her toes ('good,' I thought, 'stay FAR away from the water!') Now we are going to go to the playground I found for a little large-muscle workout. HEheeh, someone will be tired tonight!

They moved up the dates of the test Josh is here working on, because the weather is suppose to be nice today and tomorrow. That's good. I'll get a pic and post it tonight.

Pictures!

THE SUN CAME OUT!! Yes, that is the big news here. Ellie and I are going outside to PLAY all day as soon as I finish grading. Josh invited his colleague over for dinner last night - it was nice. Here a whole bunch of pics!

Home For the Evening...Where's the sun?

I just got back from the test range (this is Josh posting) and Ann wanted me to write something and upload a pic from our condo balcony. It looks like the lidar made the trip from Utah with no problems. At least the laser was working along with the electronics. We can't finish testing the system until tomorrow as we need to shoot the laser and we can't do that until tomorrow when every body is off the grid as it's an eye hazard.

We are in Florida!

And I cannot tell you how fabulous it is here! Our two bedroom, two bath condo on the sixth floor overlooks the Gulf of Mexico. I am listening to the waves crashing right now. In the morning I will take pics and post them.

The flights were fine. About 10 minutes before landing in our last leg, Ellie did start crying (too tired) and then promptly fell asleep for the next two hours. Poor plunko had to get up at 6 a.m.! Josh is going off to the Air Force Base tomorrow. The actual test they are doing takes 15 MINUTES!! So we are here for 16 days. Hehehehe. Grandma Char is coming out next week - awesome!

I think I could just sit here all day and watch the beach. Tomorrow Ellie and I will go exploring and we will have lots of pics for you. (She has the CUTEST swim suits!).

OK, feel free to start posting replies! Love Josh, Ann and Ellie
