Fart noises

Michael has a new neighborhood friend, Bryton. They hang out a lot. Here they are playing with slime and making fart noises. Yep, Boys.

Pookie Ellie

Yep, I drove a whole van load of girls up to girl's camp yesterday. And my POOKIE was among them! Wow, a camper. Josh and I go up Friday night. Go campers (go camp leaders).

Yep, I'm a Scout mom

I am chanelling my mom here- sewing those dang-hard Boy Scout badges!
Michael got the whole she-bang: shirt, hat, belt-thing, etc. So I FINALLY found out our troop (or whatever) number and got is sewn on for tonight!

New friend

Last week we got to have a new friend spend a few days. Mason came while his foster parents went to Trek (go them!) We went to the dinosaur museum and Michael was THRILLED to have someone to "gang up with" to annoy the sisters. Heather and gang met us there to make it a

party.

Other stuff

I forget each year the fire works are a BIG deal to the Herron's. Here is Josh's stash for this year. We invited some neighbors (about 60) to come over for s'mores and fireworks and it was a great party.
Also here is Cassidy holding Max, Emma and Ellie sharing a joke, and me with my short short hairs.
Also we fulfilled one of my dreams by finally going to the Tooele Train Museum. It was HOT but interesting.

Girls

The girls finished off a long semester of piano lessons. Ash practiced a LOT and it showed at the recital. Ellie got through her pieces. It is hard when you have two instruments (piano and cello) to practice each day. This is why I have made the declaration that piano practice for the girls will be BEFORE school this year.

Michael

Yes, Michael got baptized, but also had a party. Here is the one picture I managed to take. He is 8, and it is great. He is still seeing Mr. Steve, who comes once a week to talk about things, and just started a little tiny bit of medicine to help him not be so mad and scared.  He got a new bike, a pocket knife to be picked  out with dad and 7 Slurpies.
Go Moo!

Ashley and friends

Man, Ashley is turning into Miss Social Butterfly this summer. She is out playing with friends every day, or having them here. Yesterday two sets of friends came - at different times.
Here is a beloved (but far away) friend: Ada Herring.
