Gluten free- CHEERIOS!!!!

Yep, I was TOTALLY looking forward to the arrival of the gluten free  Cheerio (slated to arrive in stores in September), when right there at the Wally world checkout were GLUTEN FREE Cheerios!!1 AND to add to the bargain, they were price-matched for $1.99 (regular price $3.97). I actually went back in line and bought four more. There will be return trips my friends, there will be return trips.

AND I went to get one of my drugs - it was a 90 day supply, so much easier. And I was like "darn, $15! I was hoping for $5." And the drug guy was like, "Oh no, look how much the insurance paid.." It was (are you sitting down?) $1,463.07. True. Apparently it was some sort of extended release which only the real drug maker makes.

AND today I called the credit card company and got our $27 late fee refunded.
I am just kicking it today!

Laid off!!!

Yep, Gentle Reader, you guessed right - I am laid off my job! It turns out there was not enough enrollment in either class for them to offer it. And the other open classes just aren't worth it (drive 45 minutes for one 1.20 hour class) or just won't work in our schedule.
So I have the semester off!! Yah!!! Now I am thinking I am going to let go and let God figure out the details on the incoming kids, life in general, etc.

Josh has been on the prowl these days for big machine-ie things. Here are two of the new ones!

Foster parents

We got our license renewed to be foster parents. We had to send in proof of these after our inspection. It is nice to be licensed because it gives you lots of options. And I can also say "Well the state of Utah thinks I'm a good parent, what about you?" Also here is brand-new-from-heaven Ivar Harker. We all went to see the little cutie.  And guess what season it is? Pear drying!! AND wally world will price match the 50 cents a pound deal!!! Guess what I bought this morning? The dryer is going and  I can do two batches a day. Yah dried pears!!
