Yep, here is what Josh has been doing with his evenings and weekends:
Here is the guest bedroom which needs QUITE a bit of attention before Jules and Ian come to visit us at the end of May!!
And here is my new thinking chair (which I did get last weekend and just didn't post about it). It is comfy and awesome and great for putting a kid in to watch Max and Ruby on the iPod while mommy lays in bed for a bit)
I also rearranged our bedroom so it is more relaxing, since I am working on staring at a wall for at least an hour a day.
We are the Happy Herrons. I, the writer of this blog, am the adoring wife of Josh, happy mom to Ellie, Ashley and Michael. I have amazing friends and love to bake (even if it is gluten-free).

My ouchy foot
About two weeks ago my right foot started hurting. Right under the ball of the big toe. So I took it easy at the gym and didnt' walk to much and stuff. Then by this week, I remembered my goal of living long and strong (which you have to commit to when you are 40-something with a 2 year old). So I took myself to the doctor.
Good news - the bone under my big toe is NOT broken!
The tendon or something else down there got injured and is all swollen up.
Solutions offered: three weeks in a walking boot OR six days of oral steroids OR a shot in the foot!
Guess which one was easier to remember - shot in the foot!
AND I could pick, bottom of foot ( AHAHAHHAHAHAHAAA) or top of foot (took longer, might hurt a bit more). Hello.
So here is a picture of my sore foot being propped up and rested all last night. Josh took the girls to Pack Meeting and I put Moo to bed and enjoyed some alone time. (the red spot is where it shot went in, FYI.)
Much, much better today - just tender. YAH modern medicine!!

I changed a bike tire!
Yep, here is the photographic proof that I changed Ellie's (front) bike tire - ALL BY MYSELF!! Josh showed me what to do last time and I just did that stuff. It wasn't too bad, but I am VERY glad it was the front tire.
Also, Daddy made the girls a fairy house. They have also turned the neighbor's backyard dirt into a fairy trap so they can catch their own fairy. Nice
