Clara Barton

Ashley got to be Clara Barton for the fifth grade history project. She made a delightful poster, we found a great dress as D.I., I made her an apron, it turned out great, Good job Ash. She also got to borrow Grandma's official (old) nurse hat which made her feel very fancy. And it was her final show-what-you-know this very night. Go Ash!

Funeral ladies

This last week have been CRAZY busy. Two members of our ward died last weekend, about five more needed meals, etc. Here is the kitchen crew from the funeral luncheon.

Seester Holly

During my three weeks of school freedom, I have been visiting people I love! So Tuesday I went to see Holly and her delightful children!! We did 'big city' errands and even went to the world's-biggest-Costco!! (for all your halal chicken!)

It was tons of fun and chatting and chicken-watching!

Thanks Holly!

Seester Heather

So last week I went to see Seester Heather. I tried to get her to take another nap, but she said she didn't want to waste sister time!
So I played with her very-cheery baby and we played in the big city! Too soon I had to go home.
Thanks Heather!

Moo news

So since we got Michael I have been thinking, "What a great kid to have in a church video!"
Well a few months ago I submitted his picture as part of "Lehi's posterity."
And then this week, got this...

But I DID NOT get the earlier email and cut his hair recently! How can I get to grow FAST??

RE: We hope you’re still growing your hair!

Dear Michael Kenneth,

We are close to receiving our Shooting Schedule for this year. Shoot dates this year will be during the month of June. We have several days requiring background actors of all ages. If you’ve been growing your hair, chances are good that we will be able to use you this year!

Please watch your e-mail within the next two weeks for scheduled dates!

Many Thanks,

Ashley continues to love her chickens, and now that is it nice and warm, they come out and play more (and dig up the garden beds). Moo is cute. Ellie is deciding about her three electives for next year! Also Dad found us another scorpion to play with/kill this summer! Good luck buddy.
