OK, here is goes:
I got tagged by our friend and crafter-extraordinaire Phoebe
Here are the rules:
1.Link to the person who tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Share 6 adoption related things/habits/quirks about yourself.
4. Tag 6 people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs.
5. Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.
1) http://princesspose.blogspot.com/2008/11/adoption-tag.html (but I think you have to be invited to this site, I am not sure)
2) Above
3) a. Ellie, Jules (her birthmom) and I all LOVE dark chocolate.
b. I had a friend buy all the cuties gifts we have Jules when we first met her (I was too nervous and had no idea what to get). This is called the 'face-to-face' and everyone finds it very nervous. It all went over wonderfully.
c. It was so weird to be so happy (to have Ellie) and yet so sad (for Jules and her loss and braveness) all at the same time. Emotions run RAMPANT in adoption. I tear up sometimes just thinking about it.
d. We hope to adopt a 25-month-old little girl from Arkansas next month. Her name is Cheryl. hope our face-to-face goes well.
e. I would like to adopt some boys next, and maybe even more. But seriously the emotional drain of adoption is HARD. I think it would be MUCH easier to throw-up, gain weight, have a 48 hour labor or whatever.
f. We didn't plan on adopting a 'not infant' but we think this will work out fine.
Can I tag: Heather and Holly (my Logan friend and not Holly the sister) and my dear friend Lori also in Logan and Kristen, formerly of Logan but now in Tooele! Cool!
We are the Happy Herrons. I, the writer of this blog, am the adoring wife of Josh, happy mom to Ellie, Ashley and Michael. I have amazing friends and love to bake (even if it is gluten-free).

Sleep, glorious sleep
Yes, last night I slept for SIX hours and woke up ONE TIME. And after Josh got up, I still had 'time' to sleep SO I DID! Hallijuah!! So I didn't take a nap today (well, does closing my eyes for a bit in the car count?) and ran five miles so I am hoping for a repeat! Obviously I need to exercise myself into sleep-dom. This is good to know and great now that we have the replacement circuit board for the treadmill (so it won't randomly speed up or slow down on you). It is so fun to go to Logan and see the plunkos and shop with Danell (ehhe, don't tell our hubbies!) They have STORES there - LOTS of stores - it is lovely. Well here's to a good night sleep!
These are my new jammies 1) to match Ellie and Cheryl in their pink footies and 2) to stay warm while I stay up late. We also got marshmellow guns - ehehhel - come over and we'll shoot at you!
