So here is my sadness. This morning there was a bunch of noise outside and I went out and saw MACHINES - that were MOVING DIRT!! Needless to say I was quite excited that maybe, somehow, if it were possible - someone would fill in the huge hole next door and we could re-claim our 3 feet of property and finish our yard, sprinkler system, fence.
Ah, dreams. No, it was just a crew hired by the city to clear the weed out of the right-of-way. Sadness. But here is a picture of where our property goes into a big hole, just for the record. I am standing at one end of our property line and our property goes just to the right of the tree there in the distance. Maybe one day.....
