We are the Happy Herrons. I, the writer of this blog, am the adoring wife of Josh, happy mom to Ellie, Ashley and Michael. I have amazing friends and love to bake (even if it is gluten-free).

End of a crazy week!
Let me just give you an idea of our crazy week. Monday - we all got up really early and drove to Logan. Ellie and I went shopping (yah stores!) an Josh worked. Then we had a lovely dinner with the plunkos and parents and came home.
Tuesday - Ellie and I went to the SLC library with Kellie and gang. Totally fun. Visit my favorite bakery (yum cupcakes). We got home, worked on some crafties, practiced the organ, graded online classes (SO frustrating!! We are on a new platform and it's STUPID). Josh spent the night in Logan, so he would not have to drive 3+ more hours.
Wednesday - I swam a mile. Ellie played with Camille. I went back to the orthadontist (more on this in a second). Made creme brulee. Josh gets home at last!
Thursday -Make two lemon meragine pies from scratch. Playgroup. Drive to Ogden for lunch with Arrin and Sally (see pictures!) Try to redeem Mrs. Fields cookie from my birthday last year. Drive home. Go to Enrichment - Service Auction - SO FUN! Win free babysitting and a sewing lesson!
Friday - Work in yard. Go shopping. Go to zoo with Holly and Macy and Luke. Ellie LIKES the zoo. Loves seeing the animals. Look - the giraffes are kissing - just like us! It was a bit windy and COLD. Josh bought us a year pass to the zoo - and we can take an adult guest free! Kids under 3 are free - so email me and let's do a zoo date! Ward choir practice.
Saturday - 9 a.m. host ward breakfast and Easter Egg hunt. WAY more people came that I planned for. There was just enough food. Plenty of eggs. Josh mopped the floor. Clean house, do laundry. Drive to Cousin Beth's open house for her new house! It's lovely! Choir practice.
Sunday - Go to ward council. Teach Gospel Doctrine. Play piano in RS. Make good comments for Bugs' fabulous lesson. Plan to feed the missionaries - they can't come - feed the Herrings instead (much laughing during our five course meal). Update blog. Collapse into bed!
Upcoming next week - almost nothing -yah!!!!! Very excited for sewing lesson and garden planning on Monday. Come to my choir concert on Friday at 7 p.m. at St. Bart's.
