Good news

I didn't want to make a big deal of this, but just so you know: Josh and I are caring for a foster child. Jacob is a toddler and we are happy to share his life for a bit. Due to confidentiality stuff, we can't talk about his history or anything, but just so you know why we have another person with us! He is a big cutie with big brown eyes. They told us he is 10 months old, but he is like 1 inch shorter than Ellie, can walk with stairs if you hold his finger and has like 16 teeth. Does that sound like 10 months? This is currently a foster only placement (adoption is not a consideration at this point), which is fine, because we are still pursuing Cheryl's adoption. The two kids played together SO cute this afternoon - Ellie would turn the toy's music on and both kids would jump and spin in circles and laugh - for like an hour! Yah for early bedtime!
