Final days of the party

Well we are trying to recover from the last fabulous days with Jules and Ian. We went to Seven Peaks, Thanksgiving Point, went to dinner several times, played lots of video games, made and launched model rockets (and lost three of the four) and slept in a lot. It was AWESOME! They returned home Saturday afternoon, to much sadness at the airport. Thank you for coming to visit us and letting us be part of your growing family!

Jules and Ian!!!!

Jules and Ian came to visit us! Jules is expecting a little boy in October, so this made it extra awesome. We have been busy - they want to go see the biggest Costco in the world, we went to Seussical (and survived), went to the drive-in movie last night (but baled half way during the second movie - everyone was asleep 5 minutes after we got home). But me, I am having a lot of trouble going to, and staying asleep. Will call medical professional today. They are so fun to play with and I am so grateful they came out to spent some time with us. We love you!!

Baby Thomas!

The Harker's welcomed baby Thomas on Friday night. We were glad he was here! On Monday, we motored on up to see him!

Some summer things

Chess had become the new thing at our house. Good! We have also been playing with the cousins. The girls were super excited to go to the mall and look at clothes.
Ashley wanted to get some clothes in her "fashion sense" - unfortunately, this involves a lot of pink and glitter. All the clothes that fit her 5'1 frame are not designed with pink and glitter. I think she may need to bedazzle. Ellie was just super excited to find clothes she thought were cute. Emma tagged along ,so we enjoyed her company.
We did try on lip gloss at a make up counter, which was interesting to everyone, And check out those five-inch shoes Ashley wanted! (NOT!)

Grateful

Look what I could pull out of my fridge this week. Amazing. Also grateful for free Slurpees!
