Look how cute our puppy is! He is definately getting older though. He doesn't tug on the leash as much when we are doing our morning walks. And check out this tiny egg!
We are the Happy Herrons. I, the writer of this blog, am the adoring wife of Josh, happy mom to Ellie, Ashley and Michael. I have amazing friends and love to bake (even if it is gluten-free).

Guess what!?!?!?!??!?!?!?
Yep, Josh was released yesterday as Bishop of the Tooele 3rd Ward.
He cried during his testimony, I almost cried. It has been a special blessing to our family for the past five years. Onward!! (Brother Clark, Josh and Brother Green - the counselors were changed from the beginning).
Tender mercy
As I work on my book (In the Meantime) I went and talked to my friend Laura Call about her experiences waiting with her adult-onset epilepsy.
We talked for a while about exactly what she experiences, how she handles and, etc.
And she started having a siezes!! I knew EXACTLY what to do. She ended up siezing for like 45 minutes. At 10 minutes, she told me to call 911, which I did and was totally helpful (if I may say so myself).
Jesse was far away so I followed behind and stayed with her at the ER.
She said to me," See, that is my tender mercy, I have always had someone with me when I have a seizure."
Wow
Other yard pics
Josh has also welded the supports for the beams for the patagoa (I can't say it and can't spell it - the covering thingie).
The overall yard. Got some tomatoes and like 6 cataloupes! I have never grown that many before. We have three pumpkins from the back and a ton of little ones growing as volunteers in the front flower beds.
Deck
The deck is done!!! Here are some pictures of that. Only injury - Josh cut his thumb on a nail and I fell while moving a board and have a HUGE bruise all around my left arm/elbow, one on my leg and side. They are getting better
Deck: lay out support beams, level, screw in siding, etc. Move 32 HEAVY TREK deck boards. Move them again. Move them, cut the edges, and move them back in place. Josh did 98% of all that. Then jammed each board into the other boards while screwed into place. Cut and inset final plank, finish screwing all the nails.
It is SOSO nice just to walk out the door! The hot tub is just steps away. Once we get a stop into the tub and the pagtota up, it will be AWESOME!! Had Francie over for grilled chicken for our first party.
So much progress!
There I have taken tons of photos of the yard, but I am only able to get these on here. Imagine the in between stuff.
The hot tub (prep (two truckloads of gravel, moved by hand), 2 foot trench dug, electrical run through said trench, cute pebbles hand shoveled on top after installment):
