We finally get around to having Ashley's cake

And then one day I finally made Ash's birthday cake and we celebrated:

 For some reason a popular cake-theme this year has been the state of Utah. So here you go!

Also Ashley designed a custume for her chicken, Blackie. No word on how the chicken felt about it.

Arg, Halloween

OK, for I forgot the halloween post.
We had a Dorthy, a red kitten and a pirate:
There was lots of candy collected. Now I just put a kitchen towel over the bowel and we forget it it there. I am giving/throwing away the rest tomorrow - come on over!

Ashley gets baptized!!!

Yep, Ashley's extra-special day finally arrived!

She and dad headed off to the church and got all ready for her baptism. When we arrived she came in anxiously looking for all of us and rewarding everyone with a cheery wave.

After the talks, she was the first one called to go. One of my favorite memories forever is her skipping down the aisle with Josh, just beaming.
There was, of course, was an attempt at a family photo:

 Then there was the party!

A good time was certainly had by all.

Ok, I have been totally horrible at blogging recently - aka like  two months.
Here is a picture of Moo doing his favorite afternoon activity  - either washing dishes or making a cake with various 'ingredients' from the spice pantry.
