Everyone gathered in safely. Our house in Park City was amazing to behold (however the elevator worked for 1 hour and then was broken the rest of the time. The 80 year old grandma and the five month prego girl had to walk up and down 4 flights of stairs (really 8 flights) to come up and down). The kitchen was on the top floor for the best view. No worries, Heather got us talked down $600 because of the elevator. So we all get $100 back! (Team Herron is going on a trip right after Thanksgiving -heheh).
Josh and I got invited out by Josh Jensen to see some of his projects on Main Street. They were pretty fancy. He did one restaurant that rents out (for one night of Sundance Film Festival) for $150,000 a night. Crazy!! He took us to a fancy restaurant. It was ok. But lots of GF stuff on the menu.
There were games, lots of laughing, some hot tubbing, LOTS of eating, a 20-choice hot cocoa bar, and LOTS of monster cookies. My favorite part was when we were playing 'Get to know Char' and she was winning all the questions until the last one: How many children does she have? She got it wrong and guessed 8!!!! There was much merryment about that one.
We all lasted the four days and came home ready to be in our own beds. David got to stay with us for a night and we all loved that. Here is to another great Gutterbutt next year!
