Tuesday was just a fabulous day! The Valentine's Day fairy visited all the kids and left treats on their pillows. I got all dressed up, dropped Michael off and headed down to Provo. I stopped in at Mom's first. We chatted and ate fruits. Then Sara and I went to Heather's to get Michael's classes (which he left there at the Super Bowl party). We chatted a LOT more and ate more delicious food.
Sara and I were headed to Ross to return Ashley's dress. But then (as part of my plan to use up all the gift cards in my wallet), we decided to go to Harmons (the fancy grocery store).
We walked around and looked at tons of good stuff. Then we found GF frozen rolls and got those. Then thought about some fun cheese - so we went and asked the cheesemonger! After selecting three delicious kinds (we liked the soft kind the best), A salmon filet to cook ourselves (we really could not stand to pay $12 for a cooked piece) and picked up some fancy French pink lemonade - we used up my cards (Christmas from SLCC) and only paid $16!
So we went back to Mom's and had a feast! I have always wanted to go that. So it was definately an adventure.
Then I left to go home and stopped by to return the dress - and the TJMaxx was right next door (where my other gift card was from). So I tried on shirts and found two ones that make me look cute! For only $7 after my gift card.
Then Josh got home more than an hour early and brought.......red roses!! I have not gotten flowers for V-day in a loooong time! AND he got me a shrimp tray!! I love flowers! We had such a good snack that I forgot to cook dinner for the kids before they left for Mutual.
So Josh and I were looking for hotels for our Vegas/Grand Canyon trip and the door rings ....
It is the Young Women..... and they brought me cards and a pot of tulips!!
I have NEVER had anyone come to the door with flowers for me before!!
I almost cried!
Anyway, that was my awesome day.
