Weekend news

Michael and Jeffrey both got the priesthood this weekend. Michael is now a deacon (and passed the sacrament) and Jeffrey is a priest (he is older, and also passed). It was a VERY exciting day for all involved.

Jeffrey and I had worked on his vest for a few weeks (and Kellie had to come over to give me a tutorial on turning the dang thing right-side-out). But here it is.

Dad and Michael made bread ("Dad wants to make bread with ME"). It was pretty tasty. Everyone remembered why homemade bread is the best. We even had bread and cheese, chicken salad, etc. for dinner.

Here is a picture of me playing the organ. Go me! I even pedal one song each Sunday (when I can work it in). No pedaling this week, my ingrown toes removed hurt and too  much nervousness with Grandma, Auntie and Michael. All good.

Baby-think-it-over comes to visit!

Ashley is taking Child Development this semester. One of the extra credit projects was to take home a baby doll and take care of it all weekend.

Ashley adored "Rebecca" and took very good care of her. When we went to Wal-Mart I do confess to screaming in my head "NOT A REAL BABY!!!"
