Today, on my calendar was the most important event - Alisha's sealing (10:20 a.m.). I will now give a commentary on the day.
7:59 a.m. - arrive at dentist office. Expected treatment as follows; 1) Ellie getting two cavities filled ( my guess in one hour, leaving plenty of time to get to the temple) 2) Ash getting retainer checked. 3) Moo getting tooth just looked at.
End result:
1) Ellie on 'relaxing drugs'. One cavity was quite big when he looked at it. She was woosy, dizzy.
2) Ash got retainer measured
3) Dentist looks at Moo's tooth (permanent one growing in behind a baby one on the bottom. Again. He says THREE baby teeth on bottom need to be pulled. He pulls them all. Moo almost cries.
It is late. I realize I am not going to make the sealing, but hopefully will make 'coming out of the temple.'
10: 02 a.m. We leave the dentist
10:18 a.m. Ellie reports seeing double.
10:39 a.m. Arrive in SLC. Find parking space only two blocks away. Insist on holding Ellie's hand when she sways because "I am not paying for another broken arm."
10:43 a.m. Arrive temple grounds. Bride not out yet. Pippin looks great. Hugs all around.
10:54 a.m. Bride arrives. With groom. There is cheering. BIG hugs. I am SO happy for her. Pictures, etc.
11:01 a.m. Ashley says she doesn't feel well and asks for a drink. I say one second
11:03 .a.m. Uncle Jason urgently summons me over. Ashley passed out for a second. He is sitting with her. I sprint on over. We stand up.
11:04 a.m. Ashley throws up. Right by the bride's exit. Then she throws up again. Aunt Heather runs to the rescue. She brings out the trash can. Asks about the puke. We hoist Ash inside. It is cool there.
In summary, Heather went to get our car and we left. We had planned to go to the church museum, lunch and then 7 Peaks. Not to be my friend. Dearest Uncle Jason guarded puke for an hour and no one showed up to clean it up - SO HE DID. That is love my friends.
We came home and ate ice cream on the couch.
Tomorrow can only get better!
We are the Happy Herrons. I, the writer of this blog, am the adoring wife of Josh, happy mom to Ellie, Ashley and Michael. I have amazing friends and love to bake (even if it is gluten-free).

Herrons - taking it to the floor boards
The big Herrons went to the ropes obstacle course and we little Herrons went to the maze/squirting bumper cars. A good time was had by all. Every evening we would go to the lake house owned by Susan's mom. Ashley loved canoeing. Everyone loved the lake. (but mom, who stayed dry)
