Here is the calendar quilt I have been working on. It has 365 squares. I want to start sewing it this week.

Josh went up to Logan the past two Fridays to help his old boss, Dr. Vince Wickwar, with some work on the laser to support a grant they got. He and Ellie went last week and all of us went this week. It was a great review of our former lives! We even got a picture of us with the fancy laser. The kids could not believe Dad made it himself. He is pretty darn smart!
Here is the very first apartment we had together. I lived there with Debbie beforehand, and then Josh moved in after we got married! And here is the Logan temple where we were sealed!
This is the Logan Library, where I was president of the library board after I left the paper. It is a pretty nice library.
Also, our second apartment, with thick carpet and a thick coating of ceiling paste. (It looked a lot better when we lived there).
Here is our first home! The trees in the back have grown in quite well and the house looks well-taken care of. That is nice.
I took the kids shopping and to Angie's for lunch. They loved it. And we had Charlie's ice cream (we should have gone to get Aggie Ice Cream). I talked to Vince for like 10 minutes and already felt smarter than I had in months. Ah, academics and thinking! I am not doing so much of that these days. Anyway, here are the pictures.
My birthday party was AWESOME!! Josh and Ellie brought home HUGE balloons for 50, which I hadn't even known I wanted until I saw them! Lots and lots of people came and there was LOTS of candy. Check it out!
