Josh's kidney stone:
It is actually a lot bigger than I thought. My poor sweetie. He woke up Saturday around midnight and spent a few hours in the bathroom and pacing around before taking himself to the ER. But he was seen very quickly and called with the diagnosis just about an hour later. So after everything got figured out, I went at 5:50 a.m. and picked him up (nice and drugged). That is how he stayed for the next 36 hours - a lot of snoring. We are SO glad for modern drugs, insurance and such. Yah!
Also, I got two, FABULOUS callings! Ward choir director (go music!) AND..... Emergency Preparedness Girl!! I am SOSOS excited! We will be prepared AND sound good doing it!
Saturday we just ventured out - quickly - to the store and to get drugs.
Friday we went to SLC to look at stuff. We were singing "Old MacDonald had a farm" and everyone was taking turns naming an animal and when it was Ashley's turn she said, quite distinctly and proudly (with her little excited grin) "COW!" And so we all made cow sounds. She has really been talking a lot - picking up new vocabulary fast and making LOTS of animal sounds.
Ellie has enjoyed her first week being 3. They forgot to sing to her in nursery last week and so they did today and I just happened to be peeking in and she was standing there, looking all happy and proud, during the singing.
I re-organized all the crafties. Mainly for me, so I can easily see and get to the various stuff we like to do. Here it is. The NICE part is that the girls can also just get in there and get paper, crayons, and do stuff on their own. As usual, they were downstairs before us this morning (well, drooly kidney man was still snoring), and they had gotten out paper and pencils and were coloring away - awesome! Come over and crafty! This week we might go spent the night at Auntie Heather's house (since she IS the favorite auntie) and go play in SLC with her and Emma (now that we have the double jogger). Our van will hopefully be fixed this week from its little bump. Also I get a new driver's license this month (nice, with my SHORT hairs and braces, I am so excited to be immortalized for the next five years looking my bestest). Happy week!!
