We got loaded up and on Thursday morning we headed up to Logan to hang out with Danell and her family a bit. That afternoon we drove to Bear Lake and set up camp. Great eating the whole weekend.
Friday we spent at the beach and the girls did get some color, but not burned. Poor Josh had on shorta and sun-screened up, but then put on his shorter swimming shorts and got about a five inch patch of skin right above the knee totally turned. Ouch! That night there was a HUGE wind storm with lightening and rain. So after dinner we took to our tent and fell asleep all together in our cozy tent.
Saturday we celebrated great-grandma Wilde's 80th birthday with a bash in Montpelier. More swimming, more great eating and then fireworks. We stopped by the Oregon Trail museum. Here we are with an actual handcart that made it across the plain.
And with a bear rug:
Poor Ashley was having so much fun playing she crashed after dinner and missed the fireworks. (Ellie spent most of the time with her hands over her ears "It is really loud mommy!")
Sunday we got up, packed up and came home. We are doing laundry and re-packing. Tomorrow at 6 a.m. we leave for Florida! We will blog it all!

Ash hangs out with grandma. They were really cute together.
