First day of school!!

Yep, it finally arrived!

 Excited other family members: I am going to the gym right after drop-off - I usually try to look better than this in the mornings - in my defense.

Daddy got to go with us since the forest fires burned down the power/phone lines to Dugway. Really. They didn't have any power so even though they would be testing out in the field this week, they needed to send data back to the center computer. Anyway, Josh later got a call to go in this afternoon to set some stuff up. No work on the central power yet.
Then Josh and Moo and I went off to see Cousin Karen and her kiddos and Heather and her kiddos. Then we had lunch and did a little shopping.

 Of course I forgot Moo's swim trunks again (but remembered the towel? anyway). He likes to be properly dressed for each occassion, just FYI.

 Josh chasing the children around and helping Moo get wet. Moo did seem quite lonely without his constant-summer-companions the girls and was grumpy for a while.

We made it home in time for Josh to shower and head out to work. I sent out the Monday Message, trimmed Moo's hair and went to wally world for milk. Then some guy and I backed into each other and I shushed the bumper. Maybe I will be brave enough for a picture later.  Anyway, we finally made it to school (and the horrible first-day-of-school-car-pool-trauma). Everyone loved the first day and all went well. We will text/call/skype you people tomorrow. Jules - Ellie wants to know if you have skype - please advise. Have a happy first week of school!
