Today started off with gymnastics. And since I have found my camera, I took a picture! (Both girls flipping around the low bar).
(maybe better pics next time)
Random morning photo of me and Moo:
So then we went to the aquarium to see Christine and her boys, adoption friends from way back. It was SO good to see her, get semi-caught up, and see the fishes!
Here are some random pics:
Ellie was VERY brave this time and spent a lot of time touching the small sea creatures (past visits she has wanted NOTHING to do with touching anything)
Ashley of course LOVED the sting rays and spent a lot of time there.
Moo LOVED the whole thing, including lots of running around.
Also, I re-did our summer list, to better reflect where we are, what is really important and what is do-able. As part of my new celebration of domesticity (blog coming soon), I made them really cute!
We are the Happy Herrons. I, the writer of this blog, am the adoring wife of Josh, happy mom to Ellie, Ashley and Michael. I have amazing friends and love to bake (even if it is gluten-free).

Pictures!
Ok, here are the random pics from my camera in recent weeks:
Moo generally looking cute:
Friday we had a picnic with the family. Josh was working. We went to have fun that afternoon, and then dinner. This is the kiddos in the locker room at the Lehi rec center for our Sandberg Family Reunion swimming afternoon:
It is always good to have an auntie to fall asleep on (Sara, the Baby Whisperer)
On Saturday we went to Lagoon (it was VERY VERY hot). Here are the few pics we got:
The girls continued to LOVE the roller coasters. I think they ended up going on Wicked three times all together. When Ash and I went, we got to the end and she was so excited, and her bangs were standing straight up! (Josh went with them the other two times!)
Sunday we went to church in the Ensign Stake 18th Ward, which is technically where my Grandpa Sandberg was baptized. Then we did family pictures and went to Aunt Holly's. Then we went and prepared, served dinner and talked a bunch and went home, exhausted by another awesome Sandberg Family reunion. We come from good people and we can do hard things!

Where to start
Well, I think I lost my camera. So that is a big pain, because the pictures remind me what happened!
Let's see, Moo's bio mom DID sign a parental relinquishment on Tuesday.
Now we have to wait another six weeks (at least) while our attorney files stuff, DCSF files stuff, etc. Yah waiting!
Also, we had the Sandberg Family reunion Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are some awesome pictures out there!
Friday we picnic-ed, pool-ed and danced (and of course, ate!)
Saturday we went to Lagoon (insert excited cries from the girls here)
Sunday we went to church on Temple Square, did photos, hung out at Aunt Holly's, ate more, talked more and came home.
Monday we moosed back to Provo for the sisters' parties (the three original and the four 'new' sisters!) Much fun.
Tuesday we laid at home and recovered with Mom and Auntie.
Wednesday we went to City Creek and bid farewell to Mom and Auntie (who went down to do some serious shopping with Holly, Sara and Heather before they leave town tomorrow).
We, Herrons, saw the rest of City Creek, did some grocery shopping and came home.
Josh only has to work two more nights (hopefully, if the weather is good tonight and they can get a lot done).
Moo got a 15 minute nap and skipped lunch and was in FULL CRISIS mode by 6, so we had dinner and he was asleep by 6:45!!!! Now the girls are hanging out, cleaning out/playing in the craft drawer. And there will likely be another fairy storybook before bed.
Happy days!

Montana VACATION
Wow, it really was a vacation whole week! It was AWESOME! We left Monday night and went to Logan to pick up Cassidy. Then we drove all night (and, may I note, that I even drove from 12 to 4 a.m. - and didn't get sleepy!) and then crashed. The kiddos were good in the car.
The sad news is that I lost my camera somewhere in the Herron household up north and it was found the day after we left. BUT thanks to my fancy new tablet, I did get some pictures.
Danell, Monte and Cass, Austin and Braxton were also there so it was FUN FUN FUN all day long. Moo got LOTS of good boy-attention from the male cousins and everyone had fun exploring Grandma's backyard.
There were AWESOME fireworks on the Fourth. We also drove up to Glacier National Park on the Fourth and went on the Going-To-The-Sun road. It was SO GOREGOUS!! We hiked a bit, had lunch and went to the vistor center, where we had a SNOW BALL fight (yes, there were feet and feet of snow up there- hopefully pictures coming from Monte).
Thursday morning we went fishing at a local stocked pond. Ellie caught a fish and Ash ALMOST got one to shore, but then it slipped away. Photos:
After some lovely naps, we went to a lake front property (friends of the family) for swimming, boating, fishing (and being eaten by mosquitos). Here are the random pics, since the tablet is hard to upload from.
And just when the day coulnd't get any better- Grandpa brought out the HUGE flat of treats AND chocolate milk!!
The owner came down and offered to take everyone out on his real boat. The girls were estatic! Josh even almost caught a HUGE fish (that got away as he lifted it into the boat). Sorry honey!
And the neighbor kids found some snakes, which were of GREAT excitement. Ash LOVED it:
We drove home Friday afternoon, stopping for a GREAT gluten free meal at Outback - they have a WHOLE menu of their GF food - it was AWESOME!! Saturday we cleaned, washed, mowed, straightened, etc. and went to Emma's Princess Birthday party for #5. It was pretty great (always Heather you are the party girl!). Today we laid around! Josh starts 3 weeks of working nights, so it was very nice to spent a week together. Tuesday is court, I will report. Have a nice week!
