Yep, so here are a bunch of random photos from the past weeks along with short explainations of our awesome lives!
Ok, after the Adele arrived (and before) we were out doing fun stuff. Did you see this?
Ellie had a little cavity that I could see. But stuff didn't work out and so it took a few weeks to get to the dentist, where by then it was "almost a root canal."
So she strapped on the happy gas, watched some cable TV and said "I didn't even get a mouth shot" - but then I explained she did, but didn't even notice! Her other, much smaller cavity was filled a few days later with no mouth shots.
Then it got hot and Josh got the kiddos a water slide - and everyone then got scared to try it out:
Much fun was had, as always, in the backyard:
Ellie, somewhere, learned to make a wish tree (or something like that). So I told her I would take a picture:
Then something very very very sad happened. Friends were over. In an attempt to (impress a girl?) Moo got into the shed, got a huge tree timmers, and...cut every single branch off the bartlett pear branch of our pear tree.
There was much yelling. About 2 hours of time-out and even today, sometimes he crawls into bed with me in the morning saying, "I am SO sorry I cut your pear tree." I am sure in 10 years this will be funny. But now it is just sad. There was even one little pear on my favorite variety:
Then at some point, the kids took Ellie's mattress of her bed and had a dance party.
Pictures of the cutest-newiest-niece-ever! (and adoring Auntie Heather)
We did have our first backyard campout of 2013. And agreed that next time we are really going to go somewhere:
Our raspberrries are going CRAZY! We have been eating and enjoying for several days now and the goodness looks to continue! Here are some friends enjoying the berries:
We finished up the first round of swim lessons - and my last Mommy and Me class! Moo turns 3 on Monday and is going to the preschool class - alone! I get 45 minutes of alone time to read every morning to the next four weeks - heheheheh!!
Thursday was also the bike rodeo, and we all rode our bikes over! We are thinking about biking to swimming and then over to the gym (2 blocks) in the mornings for July.
Awesome friend Kellie and I have been switching child-watching for a few hours one day and then the other, so one mommy gets some alone time! This week I went to the SLC library ALL BY myself and brought home this bounty:
One day this week (note, this post is NOT in order!) I had a RS presidency meeting and took the kiddos with me. After a while I didn't hear them and thought I should go check, but then we were talking and I forgot it. Then I thought again, "they got locked outside" and jumped up and ran out, and sure enough, there they were, standing by the back door (Ellie trying to pick the lock with some random piece of wire she found).
When I let them in, Ellie told me they had taken some ants outside, to set them free, and had gotten locked out. And then she said they had a prayer so I would come let them in. Oh my sweeties! Heaven Father will ALWAYS help you out! I love you so much!
The washing machine was making a VERY bad noise, so Josh took it apart to fix it and decided to wash Moo.
He also fixed: the broken vaccuum, the compost, trimmed the tomato plants, mowed the lawn, cooked the corn and potatoes for dinner, rotissaried the meat and was generally wonderful! Birthday reports coming up!
