Today I was released (not going to teach anymore) Sunbeams! Instead, I am the new first counselor in the Relief Society (women's organization). Yah! Grown up conversations! It will be great. We will see what happens with playing the organ.
Speaking of which, today was the new unveiling of the new organ and I played the first song.....completely horribly. Really, missing notes and wrong notes and timing, etc. Anyway, the next two songs were ok. I was so nervous. AHAHAHHAHA. Anyway, onwards!
Also, we did foster respite for N, T, and B again Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon. Did I tell you that their cute baby brother, Joshua, died of SIDS a few weeks ago? Very sad.
I forgot how much I like foreign films. Josh and I are watching "The Maid" in Spanish right now and it's pretty cool. More foreign films!
Here is a cute picture of Ellie achieving one of her life-long dreams (of this week), having a tea party/picnic! Thanks Korths, for making this dream come true!
Just a cute kid!
That water-pouring game continues to inspire and entertain. The girls take the syringe-thingy and suck water up in it and squirt it into their mouths -nice!
Also, on Wednesday, we had the first-Holly-is-now-unemployed-girls-day! (featuring of course, cute babies! Gib was not available at press time for a photo)
We ate some cake (amounts not to be named) and shared babies and talked up a storm and generally had a great time.
Also, Sara (not pictured) and I FINALLY got to give Holly this coat that we KNEW was hers the moment we saw it in the Michigan thrift store. She loved it.
On Thursday a whole bunch of mommy friends and kiddos came and played. Ellie made a "roller coaster" out of a box and tried to convince kids to go down the stairs in it.
Friday we traded babysitting with those lovely Korths and while they were here, we made sugar cookies (YUM!!!! and just note that the whole batch was gone 24 hours later)
Also, daddy got a lot of boxes this week with new plane parts and remote controllers and stuff and he made a "barbie house" for the girls - here everyone is this weekend decorating it.
And sometimes Ellie likes to get one of Josh's books and copy diagrams and stuff from it:
Have a nice week!
