So a long time ago I signed us up for a curling lesson at the Olympic Oval. Then our cruise came up, so I called like three times, trying to get a new date or a refund or something. I kept calling and nothing happened. So finally I found their email. The director called me right away and we lined up a date to go on Friday. These are the actual stones used in the Olympics (probably because they cost $20K a set). Ellie has a tailbone bruise. Me and Josh had a stiff leg for a bit. But we all recovered. It was fun to learn something new together.
It was a fun time and we went to Pizza Pie after. And then stopped at Mike and Holly's to return some stuff and talked until 11 p.m. Michael enjoyed their new electric scooters. We all slept in the next day.
We are the Happy Herrons. I, the writer of this blog, am the adoring wife of Josh, happy mom to Ellie, Ashley and Michael. I have amazing friends and love to bake (even if it is gluten-free).

Pickleball and stuff
So I am LOVING the 4H program this summer. The girls finished their Girl Coding class - even Ashley said it was not bad. On Thursday I made them all take pickleball at the local tennis courts. Apparently, it also, was 'not bad.' Michael also went to rockets (make a rocket and then air-compress it onto the top of the building).
Ashley is trying to turn into a mermaid - Cuppa? Anyway, she went to a later over with Kaiya and her cousins were there and started turning Ash into a multi-scaled creature. She now wants to do chores to earn money and get a ticket to go to a Com-a-con.
Also my pretty flowers keep blooming!

Monday adventure
So Mondays have been our adventure days (mom had hand therapy and Ellie has hers). So we go to appointments and then on adventures! This week featured a bouncy castle that none of us liked. You can see Ashley's excitement.
