Cell phone updates

So here is a random assortment of pictures downloaded from my cell phone:














































Our little farm

I found a sign at Joann's that says:
And it is true. For accuracy's sake, here is a list of the things we are growing in our yard this year. All of our new trees have sprouted!
1) peach trees - 1) Early Elberta 2) Kewana
2) fig tree
3) pluot (cross between a plum and an apricot)
4) nectarine
5) apple trees 1) Golden Delicious 2) Pink Lady 3) Macintosh
6) pear (with four kinds on one tree - Bartlett, Red Bartlett, Comice, D'ajou)
7) Jerusalem Artichokes
8) Blackberries
9) onions 1) red  2) yellow
10) hardy Kiwk
11) apricot tree
12) strawberries(about 150 in vertical planters)
13) raspberries (a patch)
14) blueberries (2 bushes)
15) rhubarb
16) almond tree
17) cherry trees 1) Bing and 2) Van
18) 6 chickens
19) a big tub of worms
20) Also in our garden (planted or planned): canteloupe, watermelons (2 kinds), tomatoes (3 kinds), potatoes (2 kinds), lettuce, spinach, bok choy, broccoli, peas, onions, leeks, beets, Swiss chard, carrots (some of which wintered over), summer squash, kale, zucchini, cucumbers, bell peppers, cabbage
21) my herbs: rosemary, basil (2 kinds), chives, oregano, thyme, tarragon, dill, parsley
22) flowers: daisy, sunflowers, snapdragons, marigold, Icelandic poppies, foxglove, lupine
As you can see - we totally did need a greenhouse! In the evenings, we like to stroll around and check on everything. It is very nice.
If I find the phone I will post some pics of how big the chicks are getting - they look like real chickens now.When I open the door, they all run under the coop where I can't reach them. If we do get one out to "play with" it immediately runs back INTO the coop if it gets lose!
