Grandma!

It's always fun when grandma  comes, when grandma comes we're gay...
Yep, Grandma came a few days here and a few days there on her 31 day stay in Utah.
Here she is getting breakfast in bed.

And here are the boys going off fishing while the girls went to the Mother/Daughter party (which was suppose to be held in our backyard, but, darn it, was rained out. Everyone had a delightful time at the church instead.

 The men went out, but were also rained out so they stopped and got junk food and watched TV.

The Fish

So as part of the reunion, Josh took Ashley fishing.
AND THEY CAUGHT TWO FISH!!

 Apparently Cousin Josh is an expert fish=flayer. So, with a dull knife, he got started. You can tell it was VERY interesting to everyone.

Cousin Josh was also a huge hit with Michael, who followed him around the rest of the reunion with puppy-admiration.
Then we went to the hotel.

The next day (using some butter from the fabulous breakfast buffet, cooked up the fish!) It was pretty good!

I am SO sorry this picture was white-washed. Cousin and Josh were SOSO cute together:

Sandberg Family Reunion

Yep, the famous Sandberg reunion was Aug. 7-9. And, as always, it was pretty awesome!

There were 4-wheeler things to ride:

 

Baby Sam and Grandma!

Yep, baby Sam arrived with no complications (well you should talk to  Heather about that). And we got to go hold him!

And then brave Auntie Ann took everyone to 7 Peaks again! I got finally photo proof that we went!

Then, in the perfect kid day, we all went to McyD's for ice cream and French fries and ice cream cones from Auntie Kathleen:
