Jules and Ian!!

Jules and Ian arrived last night (after a crazy afternoon, an emergency trip to rescue daddy at the van pool drop off and driving 1/2 way to the airport to realize that no girls had shoes on) we picked them up!

Memorial weekend

We were all pretty excited for Ellie to be done with school and to start our summer holiday!
We celebrated by going to a double feature at the drive-in movie theater!

 We saw Epic and The Croods. The girls stayed awake for BOTH! Moo conked out after one. Everyone enjoyed the candy.

Josh polished up his fancy grill for the cookin- outside season - we did grill on Monday! And of course, my awesome new chair!

We have been painting our pet rocks: very fun

Here is a random pic, from inside the house, of the kiddos outside, playing, which is really their favorite thing to do!

And here we are in the morning, doing our school work. Our school sends home a 'stay smart for the summer' packet and we are doing a little math and reading every morning. Moo is doing some coloring.

My summer swing

So we got a very nice tax refund and, after paying all the stuff off we agreed, Josh and I each got a bit of money to buy a toy. Josh got goggles - you put a camera on a remote controlled plane and can watch where it flies.  I am sure some pictures will be coming this summer.  I got a hammock swing!!

 And another major project (we are so excited you are coming Jules and  Ian) done by necessity -  I do not have a 'before'; picture because you, literally, could not get in the door.

 Today I thought Moo needed a little moving around, so remembering my mom, took him for a walk around the block. Actually he voted to ride his bike all the way around the block - and although he did say it was hard a few time - managed the whole thing! Here is our victory entry!

Bubbles

So as part of Heather's master-Mario birthday part for Ben, she hosted a bubble-blow. We took our wands and yesterday, which was pretty humid for Utah, we bubbled!

Also today I hauled around 200 new pounds of sand for the sandbox - yah!

Gwynn!!

So then we motored up to Tulsa to see Gwynn. She and Alex found a great restaurant for dinner - a Japanese steakhouse - for our Mother's Day dinner!
The kiddos LOVED the flaming food, etc. Ash and her half sister Melody looked exactly alike and talked the same, ate the same food, etc. It was awesome catching up.
And guess what! Gwynn and Alex got married on May 1 - congrats!!!
