Today was super fun!!
Wait, let's review Friday for all of our fans and fellow bloggers. Friday we went up to Logan and got the plunkos (Cassidy, Austin and Braxton) and then we came home and had a HUGE Chinese New Year party with our great neighbors the Herrings. Chinese food, karaoke and brownies were enjoyed by all. Yah neighbors!!!
So Saturday, we all got up and had wonderful French Toast. Then we got ready and took Josh to the airport. He is in San Jose until Thursday. Fortunately, I remembered that my favorite cupcake place was giving away FREE cupcakes if you went into their store. Unfortunately, I couldn't QUITE remember where the store WAS. So we drove around a bit. And then we found it! YUM!!! Everyone had a free cupcake and we all agree they were probably the best cupcakes we have had this year.
Then we went to the zoo - and everyone got in for free! (with our family membership.) And, score, everyone got a coupon for FREE cococa! So we looked at the animals:

When we got to the cocoa place, they were also doing crafties: a bird feeder on a pine cone. So of course, we all made one for free! Then we had our free cocoa. It was yummy. Then we looked at the snakes.
SAD NEWS!! The BIG yellow python DIED Jan. 4. I GO to the zoo to see the big snake. Braxton and Austin asked a good question: where do you think they buried the snake? We forgot to ask.
Then we went down this really steep hill, and it was like riding on a free roller coaster!
Then we went to the library. And Ann got a bunch of books (to read, for free!) And the plunkos played in the play area - for free! And when we were leaving the library - we didn't have to pay for parking - so it was free!
Then we got gas and drove home. It was raining. But it cleared out the smog. Here is a picture of the smog from yesterday - crazy!

So then we had some naps (well Ann had a nap) and then we went swimming! Sorry, no pictures. But everyone got nice wet (and tired) and had a good time. Braxton and Austin went down the slide like 500 times. Then we made cookies for the linger longer tomorrow:
We cleaned the house, put the plunkos to bed and now we are going to watch a movie! Happy Saturday!
