Yep, Ashley discovered she can buy music online (via dad) to be available 24/7 on her google. Joy followed. Also notice my cute bowl of flowers.
Here is my other cute bowl of flowers. Lots of the daffodils seem to have bent down stems, so I cut them and bring them inside. (I think it is Romeo peeing on everything).
Ashley's new drawing and Moo being crazy outside.Happy warm spring day!
We are the Happy Herrons. I, the writer of this blog, am the adoring wife of Josh, happy mom to Ellie, Ashley and Michael. I have amazing friends and love to bake (even if it is gluten-free).

Life goes marching on
Noah was on the Ark for 40 days and 40 nights.
So have we.
Also we got our bees out! I see more on flowers and our trees. Yah!
Sometimes we fit in a little music also.

Being close
Here are some close-ness encounters! Ashley needed to get out of the house, so I took her for a Frosty at Wendy's and I drove her out to see her friend Natalie Wilsson, who lives in Stockton.
I called and said "We are in your driveway - can you come out for a minutes?" She and her mom were thrilled. Much talking ensued.
And me and my sweetie (and the dog) have good cuddles with all these people around us. Nice.

More stuff
Ashley (and Ellie) are all into their nails (like Ashley changes 1-4 times a day!) Here are some more photos. Michael really likes to play with his friends. We are wondering about their germs (sort of late now through - right?)
Romeo smells much better after his bath. He looks so skinny when he is getting showered!
Here is everyone working on their work - three at school and Dad doing training. I am, probably, cleaning the house, cooking dinner, going crazy, etc.

Guess what my honey did!
He builded me a fence! We have been talking about this for a long time. We put gated fences on both sides of our yard (not on the back - too uneven). Then we are going to put in some more flowers! We planted our little apricot- it looks cold. We will see what happens. I have a list of garden things to do tomorrow since it seems it will get warmer next week. Should I put the melons in containers on the front porch?
There is a. of. food. here. So. much. food. I hear the gyms will open soon!
It was a nice Sunday today. Ash and Josh are doing a duet (alto sax and clarinet) of Fireworks right now.

Rest of stuff
The chicks are doing well, Ashley's - Cheryl - seems to have a little limp. We still love her.
This was the line when I went to Wal-Mart on Saturday afternoon. I left after 20 minutes.
Ashley has also been working on her sewing by making masks! I am sending her teacher pictures so she can get extra credit!
They are finishing the cul-de-sac around the corner and Michael and I head out there sometimes on our long walks. Here he is conquering a pile of rocks. He got to write his name on the foundation.
We also cleaned on Spring Break, which was last week. The bedrooms yielded 8 bags of trash - six from Ellie's room and three bags to D.I. (which I wish was opened). I think we will be staying home until school is over. We start a new online teaching method at Excelsior on Monday - we will see. BYU-I is done for a week, I just need to prep the welcome stuff. Happy Easter!

Ashley and mail polish
Ashley has become quite interested in doing her nails recently. Here are three different diagrams she had worked on recently. Ellie has been sleeping in lots while we stay quarantined. We enrolled her in a BYU high school course on drawing. We made a goal to get it done before school starts in the fall. Hope it will give her something to do.
General Conference
True, this was truly an 'unforgettable' conference! We watched at home and had more relaxing at home. Michael made a tent and we took in some sleep time.

Welcome to chicks 2020!!!
Mom and dad stood in line for an hour to collect our collection of chicks for the 2020 (and beyond) summer.
We got two each. Ellie named her Waldo (so she can say 'Where's Waldo?' Ashley named her Cheryl. Michael named his two X-Box and Adorable. I named my Little Red and Little Rhoad.
They were greeted at the door with much merriment and joy.
Long walk
My exercise plan for Wednesdays is a 3 mile/1 hour walk. So today I took Michael with me. We walked around the area. Stopped at the park. Took Romeo on a slide. And then we went and checked out a construction site around the block. Moo had good questions and the construction manager, Bob, invited him back to see the concrete pour on Friday! Nice activity to check up on during the summer months.
