Since this is a private blog, I am posting a paragraph from the letter I wrote to Patrick and Aubree's kin (cousins of the father). They are on a weekend visit right now (hence time to update) and will be going permanently on Wednesday. I am not sad. Everyone else will miss Aubree. Don't be alarmed, I never felt like they were ours and the last few weeks, as they both relax in a new environment, have been VERY trying for me.

First let me explain a bit about foster care. Kids who are
brought into care are classified into three levels of care. Most kids are level
1 – some trauma, neglect, etc. Level two is much more trauma, neglect, physical
needs, etc. Patrick and Aubree were listed as level 2 last month, once it was
determined how far behind they were in basic areas: physical, emotional,
social, maturity, speech. When they were brought into care, both were listed as “probable
malnutrition.” The therapist, Liz, said they probably suffered from severe
neglect. I just want you to know where they are. After only two months, I feel they
can both catch up, but it will be a commitment of time and effort. "
By me to you: And just as a note, school is horrible and in Primary last week, during class, they sent him to nursery for the rest of the lesson - and (after I learned about it ) thought it was a great idea. He is almost six.Random pictures!!
We went to a cousin party in the park, We went to Golden Spike National Monument (Ashley, as a fourth grader, gets into (with her family) all national parks for a year - we still have all of summer).
My spring decorating wall. Michael broke off one of his silver teeth at the gum line and the dentist said he would just pull all four of them. There were like 123 shots, screaming, some holding down, but the deed is now done. Aubree does not like to get her hair done. We went to Aunt Heather's. We went to see the Tulip Festival with Auntie Kathleen and a golf cart! It was a HUGE hit!
