Montana pictures

Just for historical accuracy, here are pictures of us in Montana (notice eating and sitting around were BIG on the agenda):
 Tablets were VERY popular!

The boys headed out to play snow-soccer. Ashley was named 'pom-pom' girl.

One day Ellie watched 9.5 hours of TV - STRAIGHT! And she was shocked, at 9 p.m., that she had completely missed dinner!
Everyone cutsied up for the funeral:

Grandma Herron

Grandma Herron died Sunday morning, at home, surrounded by her family.
We drove up Thursday. The funeral is Thursday afternoon with burial in Montpelier, Idaho, on Saturday.
She was a wonderful woman and I am grateful to have had her for my mother-in-law. She was always interested in our events. I really appreicate her interest in quilting and cooking - two things we both loved.
So now you know why we are out of touch. Sorry! We will be back Saturday evening! Thank you in advance for your well wishes, they are appreciated.

Huge catch-up

OK, let's see what the pictures tell us:
Basically there were 456 parties 10 days ago and we have simply been in recovery since then. Here are some highlights:
Wilcox's made us this awesome sign to come home to.

Matt and Holly celebrated their last New Year's as DINK's - Holly's expecting!
The fabulous Aunt Holly bought noise makers - VERY popular.

 Sisters!
 Little TV time

Girls had a 'dance dance' crazy fun time!
Noise-makers and ponies - that about sums up the New Year.
Grandma was a popular story-reader (as always).
When the Herrons came over the celebrate Moo's blessing - let's just say there was some singing and some dancing and it was all good in the end.

Momma Herron gave me this quilt top - here it is all quilted! I LOVE the old-timey fabrics in it. And Moo loves cuddling under it. Thanks!

Sealed!

Yep, here it was! Heather, you ROCK for your pics!
It was basically the best ever - we had a wonderful relaxing morning at the homestead. Moo, Mom and Dad had naps. Heather got to sleep in and go to the gym alone. Then we moosied off and arrive at the SLC Temple way early, which was fine.
We dropped the kiddos off at the Temple Youth Center. "They have a DOLL HOUSE?" six-year-old eyes open wide and excitement levels (if possible) increase. Josh and I got ready and got to spend some time chatting in the Celestial Room.

Then they called us out and all our friends and family were there.  (well, the cool people). And then the sealed talked for a bit about being loyal and stead in your family. Then the girls came in, all twirly in their white dresses (and hair clippies) and Moo wandered in, looking all big-eyed and solemn and I break out in tears.
He looked quiet and revered the whole time. Then we got to be together and everyone was so happy. It was AWESOME!!
Well, we went to the wrong restaurant (after picking it out ourselves!) and finally ended up at the right place with an intimate eating group. Everyone under the age of 8 zonked out on the ride home. (Ellie only had two cotton candies, chocolate fountain stuff, a bowl of candy, ice cream, etc. Ash had four cotton candies and I lost track after that).
YAH FAMILY!!!!
