Happy birthday Ellie!!

Yep, our poky turned 12!!!
She slept in. I texted people about her sleep-in-12-year-old-ness. It was a delightful day of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, noodles and butter and spaghetti for dinner. Ky and Lola came over and enjoyed cupcakes and spy games (see Mom below trying to make her way down the stairs). Jules and Ian (who was a national Mindstorm champion apparently) sent her a Mindstorm! She was very very excited. There was also a Temple coloring book, etc. It was a great day.

Stuff that happeend

Michael is desperate for new ammo to use again the girls, neighbor boys, etc. Here is one he liked.
Also Heather and crew came to see us one day (now that she is not prego and has a cool mini-van (did I mention we have exactly the same van - ours is grey and theirs is white)). And Max was fussy and she just started singing a cute song to him. It made me also tear up - Heather you are a good mother!
We went to the drive-in and tried to see Solo and Advengers. Josh and Moo were snoring half way through Solo. Ash wimped out in the first 1/3 and went to sleep in the van. Josh and I had already seen Solo (stupid, don't go) and after the movie was over, and we were actually going to see the movie we wanted, he said "how about we go home?" and I said, " I was going to ask YOU if I could pay you go to home!" Seriously 2:30 a.m. is pretty late on a Saturday night for someone who has to sit on a stand in front of people all day Sunday.
I bought some veggies to plant. I know, some years we plant everything from seed.... but I got something in the ground! And my container garden of strawberries is working this year! (third time is a charm).
Ellie is off to beginning pointe two times a week and reports her toes do not hurt too bad.

Cousin party!

School was over, we were back and the weather was beautiful! So my two seesters (one works - yuck! But she is getting wealthy!) and our cousin Kristen and Josh and all the kids went to Thanksgiving Point! Heather and I have memberships, so does Kristen. Sometimes we can mule in Holly's kid and she just pays 1/2 price.
We had a picnic, walked around and just enjoyed the delightful weather and company! I did get pictures....
