The sandbox is opened!

Yes, today in honor of the 55 degree temperatures (which are suppose to continue through the week) we opened the sand box. Come over and play! And the lot next to us is up for bid on Thursday - so SOMEONE will own it and get the dumb hole filled in, so we can get our yard back. Here we are in action in the backyard:

Have I updated you about the hole next to us? Here is the story. There is a loan of $172,000 against the hole next to our house. Yes, the builder took out a loan for the WHOLE house and only dug (illegally) a hole. Then he declared bankrupsty. The minimum bid on the lot of $45,000 - hello. I think that is WAY too much. Two years ago they were asking $55K for the same lot - it's called the recession! Anyway, I don't think I will to own the lot next to us - sadness. But at least we will get our actual land back!

Today we also had some friends over and I biked AND lifted weights to be healthy - this morning! A lovely day all in all.
