After

I  know - like SIX blog posts in one day!! There as been a lot going on. School ends on Thursday and I am SOSO excited not to do the driving. And just be with the kiddos all day and have fun. Josh doesn't have so many tests this year, so we think we will be able to do lots of three day weekends. Yah!

So after such a crazy end-of-the-week everyone needed a little downtime. Here is what we like to do these days. I got the girls interested in Frogger, my favorite game from back in the day!
By Sunday, Ashley had thrown up, my head hurt, and everyone had the yuckies. So we stayed home from church! I swear, I have stayed home from church more in the past eight years than in my whole church career combined. Bugs used to say it was the kid germs. Bugs, I miss you! The only reason I am not in the photo is because I am taking it. I will try to be in more photos in the future. Happy last week of school!

Heather (et all) move!

Heather and Jason have been working super hard on their new house in order to get it all fancy (painted, primed, new carpet, generally cleaned up after a few months of disuse, clean the guck off four ceilings, etc).
So Friday we went down for last-ditch effort to get everything painted before the Mormon Movers showed up on Saturday a.m.
Here is Heather gearing up for a 1:30 a.m. work day!
Then Jason went to get the big (by which I mean BIG) moving van and the kiddos helped move all the backyard toys into the mover. It was super cut and I got some photos!

Show what you know

So in the middle of the Show-What-You-Know at school we ran to piano. But after we got back, just in time, both girls had their shows.
Ellie did one about an elephant/ears and the Viking song and Daisy Daisy

Ashley did 7 Habits (where she got to hold up a sign) and Smartest Son. Dad made it to everything. Go Team Herron!

Piano recital of Ashley and Ellie

Of course, all our graduations and events had to happen on the same day. So on Thursday night was the end-of-the year piano recital. (We had to go early because of the Show-What-You-Know - details to follow).
But they played and I clapped and there were pictures taken. So that counts.

Preschool graduation of Michael

Yep, this week Michael Moo because the THIRD Herron child to graduate from Mrs. Molgard's preschool at Northlake Elementary. Brother Higley (who made much of this year possible) also attended, much to his delight.
