Bunny Scout trip to the Art Museum

While in Provo, the Bunny Scouts and their intrepid leaders, went on the long-awaited Art Museum Field Trip! We paid Cousin Maren to watch the boys and it was a delightful girl-only time! Here are some of our favorite displays (when Heather and I were not being yelled at by the security guards only five times for breaking rules, ugh).

We drew pictures of our favorite exhibits (and got yelled at for sitting in the staircase - hello provide more seating!)
  Ellie drawing her flying saucers

 Ponies, ponies, ponies!!
Momma Indians with their babies (and ponies)
Ellie wanted to be the art too
Then (in a random act that totally shows we are the BEST mommies EVER): we took everyone (ok, not Ben) to Seven Peaks! That last hour is a lot calmer than during the day!

And then, so  show you how relaxed I am these days: here is a pic of me, living my dream of sitting in my chair (which was still a little wet from the sprinklers, just FYI) and sipping REAL lemonade! Happy two weeks of summer vacation left!

A visit to cousin Adele (and her family)

So Monday we loaded up in the afternoon and went to do some SLC errands and see cousin Adele!
We went to the library first and I took this picture of some of my favorite people in one of my favorite places:
Then Ash got to feed Adele a whole bottle- she is VERY good with babies.
After a delightful taco dinner, we got to take Adele with us to the Baskin Robins for the FHE treat. Matt and Holly for 7.5 minutes alone for a date! (every one wanted a pic with the baby)
It was a fun day (although there was some yelling on the way home due to some behavior issues - like Moo AND Ellie DRAWING on the library shelves - just so you know we are a normal family).
Ash wanted a picture of her and Flowery Bear:
Here is the BEST GF pie crust I have made to date. Heather AND Kellie both said it tasted totally fine (yah, anything tastes great with ONE CUP of butter AND a pack of cream cheese is what I say!)
On Tuesday we headed down to Provo in the afternoon for some quality time with Ben and Emma (and so the mommas could comerisate together). The kids played in the backyard and had a grand old time.
